An online meeting with representatives of Sukhumi State University was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Georgia.

It was attended by professors, teachers, students of IIR the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and specialists of the Georgian university. The meeting was devoted to the development of bilateral relations in the field of science and education. The key vectors and objectives of cooperation were outlined in his speech by Professor of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the IIR Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Sociology sciences Ovezdurdy Mukhammedberdiyev. A professor and researcher from the Center for Peace Education spoke at the meeting from the Georgian side Sukhumi State University,

Honored Journalist of Georgia Badri Nachkebia and Director of the Department of International Relations at the same Indira University Dzaganiya. In particular, mutual interest was expressed in expanding opportunities in the field of education and scientific research. During the speeches, it was emphasized that holding joint meetings, consultations, trainings with the participation of teachers and students is a good opportunity to study and share best practices and knowledge in relevant fields, and also contributes to the training of future international specialists.

In continuation of the dialogue, specific areas of cooperation between universities of the two friendly countries were identified, and prospects for partnership were considered. Concluding the meeting, the parties summed up its results, expressed their readiness to implement new joint initiatives, and also confirmed their desire to develop long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
