The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan hosted an award ceremony for the winners of international competitions held in the first decade of this month.
The main participants of the ceremony were students of secondary schools and higher educational institutions of the country, who successfully performed and worthily represented Turkmenistan at the sites of prestigious international screenings.
Thus, at the World Mental Sports Olympiad "MEMORIAD – 2024", the national team consisting of 17 secondary school students of Turkmenistan performed and showed excellent results for the first time. According to the results of the Olympiad, gold medals were won by Ogulmaral Altiyeva, a student of secondary school No. 2 in Ashgabat, and a student of specialized secondary school No. 41 in Turkmenabat Mekan Nurgeldiyev of the Lebap Velayat.
A schoolgirl from a specialized secondary school with advanced study of foreign languages No. 29. Turkmenabat Aigul Yusupova was awarded a silver medal. It should be noted that over 150 schoolchildren from more than 60 countries competed at the "MEMORIAD – 2024" venue, held in Dubai, UAE from November 4 to 11 .
Scientific developments of Turkmen scientists were highly appreciated. students at the VI International Science and Invention Fair (6th International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF)), held in the city of Denpasar, Bali Province of Indonesia from November 5 to 10. A major international event brought together 324 teams from 24 countries around the world.
As a result of this event, students of grades 11-12 of the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi of Ashgabat specialized secondary boarding school distinguished themselves. Dovletmyrat Alymukhammedov was awarded a special award and a gold medal, Kerimberdy Myradlyev and Rakhmanberdy Odemuradov received gold medals.
Oguzkhan Mergenov and Mukhammetguly Oraznepesov were awarded silver medals. The 4th year students also won gold medals Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A.Niyazov Yaran Khudaiberdyev and Kerim Meredov and Engineering-Technological Oguzkhan University of Turkmenistan Govshut Akmyradov.
At the award ceremony, numerous congratulations and wishes for further diligent and fruitful studies, success, creative, sporting, scientific achievements and new high awards in the future were addressed to the students. The winners were solemnly awarded Certificates of Honor and valuable gifts on behalf of the Ministry of Education Turkmenistan and the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli.
