From December 5 to 7, the International Forum of Civil Participation #WEARETOGETHER took place in Moscow, with the main theme in 2024 being "#WEARETOGETHER responding to the challenges of the times."

This major event brought together more than 20,000 representatives from socially-oriented non-profit organizations and volunteer movements, government bodies, media, companies, and the international social sector from over 40 countries worldwide.

Turkmenistan was represented at the forum by employees from the Ministry of Education, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, and teachers from the International University for Humanities and Development as well as Magtymguly Turkmen State University.

The International Forum of Civil Participation #WEARETOGETHER is considered a key event in the field of volunteering, charity and NGOs in Russia and worldwide. It serves as a platform for fostering a culture of mutual assistance and empathy. Its goal is to organize dialogue and partnership between the state, business and civil society for the country's development and effective assistance to people. The forum's work was organized around themes such as "Peace," "Society," "Family," "Business" and "State." The main event of the forum is the awarding of the #WEARETOGETHER Prize for the best social projects of the year.

The forum's program included charitable events in Moscow, panel discussions and thematic expert sessions, an educational summit for last year's International #WEARETOGETHER Prize winners, and other activities.

Turkmen youth, developing their inherent national traditions of mutual assistance and support for those members of society who need it, actively participate in volunteer movements both domestically and in international volunteer events. Thousands of young people work in volunteer centers and implement their initiatives within the framework of program and project activities of the National Red Crescent Society. In August this year, a delegation from Turkmenistan participated in an international school for volunteers from Turkic State Organization countries held in Kyrgyzstan.
