Delegates from Turkmenistan study the experience of secondary vocational schools in China

From December 9 to 13 in the People's Republic of China within the framework of the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) program of the Asian Development Bank for workers of secondary vocational education in the countries Comprehensive training events and meetings have been organized in Central Asia to learn from the experience.

Representatives of the Ashgabat Secondary Vocational School of Tourism and the Vocational School are taking part in the events from Turkmenistan Infocommunications of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics Turkmenistan.

The training program was opened by a joint meeting of the heads of the Department of Education of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, the Asian Development Bank team led by Sofia Shakil, Director of the Human and Social Development Sector, and employees of secondary vocational education in Central Asian countries.

During the meeting, presentations were made on improving the quality and pace of development of education in the secondary vocational sector of the People's Republic of China, management rules, regulatory legal documents and cooperation between industry institutions.

It was noted that in China today, special attention is paid to the implementation of educational programs of secondary vocational education, modernization of the material and technical base, regular equipping with modern technologies, as well as the construction of new innovative educational buildings. Part of this financing is being carried out By the Asian Development Bank.

Further, introductory meetings were held for all participants at the Guangxi Vocational College. The delegation visited exhibition halls, specialized laboratories equipped with modern technologies for teaching production processes using robotics, VR and AR technologies. The management, teachers and students of the college proudly emphasized that these opportunities, meeting modern requirements, create new conditions for the education of young people.

At the Guangxi Institute of Electromechanics and Polytechnic, located in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, participants were introduced to the features and joint work of seven secondary vocational schools operating on its basis. In educational institutions, participants learned about the organization of electric power technologies, the study of innovative solutions in the field of transport logistics, the establishment of production of equipment for renewable energy, as well as how students studying within the framework of international cooperation learn from world experience.

In the final days of the program, a visit is planned Vocational schools of railway transport and secondary vocational educational institutions at Luzhou Polytechnic University in order to familiarize participants with the learning opportunities created in the field of transport and communication systems. A visit to the Guilin University of Tourism is also planned, where presentations on the achievements of the university, its management system and ongoing project work will be held for delegates from Central Asia.
