Ashgabat hosts Training on Online Freelancing

The USAID Youth Development Activity (YDA) successfully completed a training program that equipped participants with freelance skills for remote online work. The training program took place at the "Ynamly Kepil" coworking center from December 2 to December 7. It involved 24 young professionals who specialize in graphic design, programming, translation, speech correction, social media advertising, and other modern professions.

The program focused on providing participants with theoretical and practical knowledge and skills essential for successful freelance work on leading international platforms and freelance marketplaces such as Upwork, Freelance, TopTal, and others. The participants also acquired skills crucial to freelancing success, including finding suitable projects on freelance platforms, communicating with potential and existing clients, using productivity tools (e.g., Airtable, Asana), pricing their work, utilizing various payment methods, building a personal brand, and many other aspects of freelancing. They also shared their freelancing experiences, discussed challenges faced when working with clients remotely, and explored potential solutions.

The training was delivered in a hybrid format with the participation of international expert Javier Moraleda from J.E. Austin Associates. On December 7, a certificate award ceremony was held at the "Ynamly Kepil" coworking center to recognize the successful completion of the online freelancing training program.
