The "Baky Tylla" center prepares high school students for the International Olympiad in Informatics

The primary mission of "Baky Tylla" is to guide and support young talents from Turkmenistan in their preparation for the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI). The IOI is an annual competition in informatics for school students, where participants are tasked with solving and programming algorithmic problems.

The 36th International Olympiad in Informatics, held in September this year, was a prestigious event for middle and high school students worldwide. Representatives from nearly 100 countries, including Turkmenistan, participated in it. The next Olympiad will take place in the summer of 2025 in Bolivia.

To prepare students from Turkmenistan for this prestigious competition, "Baky Tylla" offers courses in informatics, mathematics and English. The center's specialists believe that foundational knowledge of informatics at a young age provides significant advantages across many future fields. Understanding how computers work and knowing how to interact with them helps optimize and efficiently solve everyday tasks. Based on this philosophy, the center begins its training with one of the most popular programming languages today—C++. Following this, university-level courses on data structures and algorithms are offered. Knowledge of these topics is highly valued during technical interviews and is a critical success factor for IOI participants.

The mathematics courses offered by "Baky Tylla" aim to improve problem-solving skills and prepare students for participation in the International Olympiad in Informatics. The educational center provides courses in fundamental mathematics, discrete mathematics and SAT math preparation. All educational materials are taught in English; therefore, a good command of English is required for enrollment. To enhance language proficiency and boost participants' confidence, specially designed English language courses are also available.
