As throughout the country, a number of significant events are also taking place in the Lebap velayat dedicated to the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust.
The continuation of the large-scale events was the festive conference “Halkara parahatçylyk we ynanyşmak ýyly — milletleriň bagtyýarlygynyň binýady”, which took place at the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, one of the oldest educational institutions in the country and was organized jointly by the Lebap velayat branch of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World, the Lebap velayat committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan and the above-mentioned educational institution.

The conference, which revealed the deep meaning of the year's motto, was attended by representatives of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World, its foreign members, representatives of political parties and public organizations of our country, professors and lecturers of the institute, and student youth. During the festive conference, warm applause was given to the speeches that revealed the essence of Turkmenistan’s peace-loving foreign policy, implemented under the wise leadership of the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and based on humanism, friendship and brotherhood.
The head and members of the Turkmen Cultural Society of Afghanistan named after Magtymguly Fragi, as well as the head of the Turkmen Cultural Society in the United Arab Emirates expressed gratitude to the Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their constant care for our compatriots living abroad. The continuation of the festive conference was accompanied by songs performed by the musical group of the higher educational institution "Altyn Nesil", glorifying the Fatherland and our peaceful life.
In the afternoon, the guests visited the Lebap Velayat Museum of Local History and got acquainted with the museum exhibits, reflecting the rapid development of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, our national heritage, and the wonders of our beautiful nature. The guests then took part in a round table on the topic “2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust”.
