In Ashgabat on February 26 of this year, the conference “Türkmen Bitaraplygy — halkara parahatçylygyň we durnukly ösüşiň kepili” was held in the building of public organizations of Turkmenistan (“Neutrality of Turkmenistan is the guarantor of international world and stable development”). The participants in the event were representatives of public organizations of the country, specialists of scientific and educational institutions, students and youth of Ashgabat.

Representatives of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, the Medjlis of the country, the political council of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, the Hakimlik of the capital and the Ashgabat Committee of the Democratic party of Turkmenistan performed at the meeting. The meeting participants listened with great attention to the speeches of Deputy of the Mejlis Nepes Rozyev, member of the Buzmein Etrap Halk Maslahaty of Ashgabat Jahan Pirmukhammedova, member of the Political Council of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan Bibiaisha Saparova, head of the Department of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Perkhat Chariev, librarian of the Centralized Library of the Ashgabat Department of Culture Arzygul Agaeva.

A common thread in the speakers' speeches was the idea that, under the leadership of the Respected President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, the people of Turkmenistan, actively cooperating with the structures of the United Nations, the EU, the OSCE, and the Non-Aligned Movement, are achieving greater success every year in developing humane principles of neutrality.

It was also emphasized that the traditional peacefulness of the people, openness, goodwill and the desire to develop fraternal relations with neighboring states in many ways contribute to the progressive and successful development of the country.
