In the Dashoguz velayat, spring planting of onions is boosting. For example, work is proceeding at a high pace in the Shavat etrap, where the crop has already been planted on 70 hectares to date. Farmers from "Novbahor", "Gulistan" and other daykhan associations approached the campaign responsibly. In total, 490 hectares have been allocated for spring planting of onions in the etrap.

This year, onions are planned to be planted on 2,200 hectares in the velayat. High-yielding, early-ripening and drought-resistant varieties adapted for cultivation in local climatic conditions are used as planting material. In preparation for the season, the region carefully approached the issues of choosing suitable land plots, soil cultivation and other important agricultural techniques.

Farmers hope that high-quality onion planting will allow them to grow a good harvest and collect at least 250 centners of the crop from each hectare. The largest onion producer in the region again will be the Akdepe etrap, where 700 hectares have been allocated for spring planting.
