The UNFPA Office in Turkmenistan presented the national partners with the Country Programme of the organization for 2026-2030. 

The program was developed in close collaboration with national partners after conducting a series of consultative meetings in 2024. It defines the priority areas of UNFPA's activities in the country for the next five years. The document corresponds to the national priorities and the needs of the population of Turkmenistan.

Chinwe Ogbonna,  UNFPA Country Director for Turkmenistan, expressed UNFPA's unwavering commitment to supporting the Government of Turkmenistan in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. She expressed confidence that through joint efforts, the Programme will make a significant contribution to improving the well-being of the population of Turkmenistan.
