The Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University is conducting enrollment for the III Open International Internet Olympiad in Informatics.
The Olympiad is open to students studying under higher education programs in various fields and specialties at higher educational institutions in Turkmenistan and abroad.
Students wishing to compete in the Olympiad must send their personal information to the organizing committee at the email address hngu.olimp@gmail.com by April 10. There is no limit on the number of participants from each university.
The olympiad will take place on the official website of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University and on the Moodle platform (https://ticit.edu.tm/). The official working languages of the competition are Turkmen, Russian and English.
The olympiad will be conducted in the form of individual competition. Participants will have 180 minutes to complete the tasks. The results of the individual competition will be determined by the number of points scored. Based on these results, the overall score of participating universities will also be used to determine the team standings.
The results of the competition will be announced in a special section of the university's website at https://iogu.edu.tm/ru/articles/53. Winners and prize winners of the Olympiad will be awarded diplomas of I, II and III degrees.

The Olympiad is organized to identify talented and capable youth, create favorable conditions for their further intellectual development and professional choices, prepare young specialists who can analyze scientific and practical problems arising in modern informatics and related fields, facilitate mutually beneficial exchanges of experience and new ideas in science and education, as well as strengthen friendly ties between students from universities in Turkmenistan and abroad.
