These days, spring planting of greenery is being carried out in Dashoguz by specialists from a local enterprise for cleaning and landscaping the city territory. Various types of flowers and trees are being planted in parks, squares, on dividing strips of highways, lawns and bosquets.

As for the city's floral decoration, this year its main part is made up of marigolds, calendula, petunias, and periwinkle. As before, roses and the "flowering carpet" - purslane - occupy a worthy place in the landscape composition of the city's garden and park ensemble.

If we talk about trees, then many hundreds of thuja, ash and mulberry seedlings are planted in the soil. Thanks to the consistency and complexity of the work, the works carried out annually, only thuja in Dashoguz is represented by several species, including oriental thuja and spherical thuja. Particularly attractive today for city dwellers are catalpas and gujumas with a beautiful crown. They and poplars, in addition, have a beneficial effect on the improvement of the environment.

As is known, trees, bushes, grasses and flowers purify the air, filling it with oxygen, trap dust and soot, and improve sound insulation and can serve as anti-erosion protection for the soil.

The landscaping work carried out also contributes to the preservation of biodiversity and helps to maintain the local ecosystem at the proper level.
