The capital's "Altyn Asyr" missed out on points, drawing 1-1 with "Shagadam" from the city of Turkmenbashi in the 6th round of the Turkmenistan Football Championship among top-tier clubs.

The game took place at the "Sport Toplumy" stadium in Buzmeyin etrap of Ashgabat.

The team from the Caspian coast proved to be a tough opponent for the 2018 AFC Cup finalist and the bronze medalist of the 2024 Turkmenistan championship. In the 45th minute, Ihlas Makhtymov put "Shagadam" ahead 1-0. This score was maintained by the guests until the end of regular time, and it seemed they would take three points from the capital. However, in the first minute of stoppage time, Selim Nurmyradov equalized, allowing the "Turkmenaragatnashyk" agency team to avoid defeat.

After this game, "Altyn Asyr" with 10 points occupies the second place, trailing "Ahal" by two points. Meanwhile, "Shagadam" with 8 points rose to third place.
