The Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan hosted a ceremonial conference “Milli gymmatlyklar – milletiň buýsanjy”, organized by the councils of trade unions of workers of culture, sports, tourism and public organizations of Turkmenistan, workers of trade and entrepreneurship, as well as the “Aşgabat” TV channel.

The conference was dedicated to the significance of the visit of the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Japan and the opening of the National Day of Turkmenistan at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka.

The conference was attended by teachers from higher educational institutions of the country, cultural figures and masters of art, representatives of public organizations, library workers, student youth, and representatives of the media. During the celebration, performances by folklore, ethnographic and musical groups took place.

The speakers emphasized the importance of the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s meetings with the leaders of the Japanese Government as part of his visit to the friendly country, as well as the grand opening with the participation of the head of state of the National Day of Turkmenistan at the World EXPO-2025, during the program of which the culture and traditions of the Turkmen people and the achievements of our country were presented.

As noted, Turkmenistan pays great attention to strengthening relations with countries of the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan. At present, relations between the two states are consistently developing in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

During the conference, it was emphasized that the agreements reached between Turkmenistan and Japan will contribute to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
