On April 18, 2025, a conference was held at the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan, organized by the National Center of Trade Unions and the State Association "Türkmen atlary".

The event was attended by creative workers, representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the State Association "Türkmen atlary", employees of the "Bereketli Garagum" reserve, and domestic horse breeders.

During the conference, it was especially emphasized that in our country, every year on the last Sunday of April, the National Day of the Turkmen Horse is celebrated solemnly and on a grand scale.

In Turkmenistan, large-scale work is being carried out to preserve the gene pool of purebred Ahalteke horses, increase their population, much attention is paid to the standard of living of horse breeders, who are awarded the honorary titles of "Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan", "Master Mentor and Master Rider of Turkmenistan", "People's Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan". The successes of the National Equestrian Games Group "Galkynyş" were also noted.

During the event, horse breeders were presented with certificates of honor and memorable gifts from the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan and the State Association "Türkmen atlary".
