The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, together with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the public organization "Ýaş tebigatçy» in honor of International Children's Day, celebrated annually on June 1st, hold a creative competition among students from schools in the Ashgabat and Arkadag cities «Geljege yasyl ädim: Çagalaryň hereketi».

The aim of the competition is to instill in the younger generation a love for the environment, nature, and to discover new talents. The competition will be held in the following categories: — drawing (persons aged 5 to 9 years may participate); — projects in the field of ecology (persons aged 14 to 18 years may participate); — creative works related to waste issues (persons aged 9 to 18 years may participate).
