On May 20, the conference “Halkara parahatçylyk we ynanyşmak ýyly – ählumumy parahatçylyk we durnukly ösüş ugrunda hyzmatdaşlyk” was held in the conference hall of the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan.

The forum was attended by representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Democratic Party of the country, the Ashgabat city Halk Maslahaty, industrial associations, the National Museum of the Turkmen Carpet, the media, teachers of higher educational institutions and students.

The conference participants discussed the ideological content of the Resolution "2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust", adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan by the United Nations General Assembly. At the same time, attention was focused on the impact of the peacekeeping policy pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the development of friendly relations between peoples. Fragments from the book "Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood" by Hero Arkadag, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, were also read out during the conference.
