The Border Management Programme in Central Asia, funded by the European Union, organised a training course in Ashgabat on modern teaching methods for teachers and staff responsible for training staff of border, customs, migration, veterinary and phytosanitary agencies of Turkmenistan.

The training was conducted by Yuliya Kazakova, an expert of the Central Asian Border Management Assistance Program and a consultant on design and management of educational processes. The participants of the training studied modern teaching methods, including approaches to motivating students. The key element of the training was the participants holding their own master classes in the format of a conference, where they applied the acquired knowledge in practice.
