An event dedicated to International Children's Day was held in the banquet hall "Shamelek" in Ashgabat. It was organized by the public organization "Young Naturalist" with the support of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.

The event summarized the results of the creative contest "Geljege ýaşyl ädim: Çagalaryň hereketi" among schoolchildren across the country.

Winners by categories: Drawing: 1st place – Abdykerim Begenchmyradov, 2nd place – Myalikdurdy Yakubov, 3rd place – Gulabat Annaberdieva; Ecological project: 1st place – Kyyas Tachmuhammedov, Suleyman Esenov, 2nd place – Yana Dobrovanova, Sevinch Ismailova, 3rd place – Maral Ovezberdieva; Work on waste recycling: 1st place – Annagozel Kuliyeva, Ogulshirin Amanmyradova , 2nd place – Medine Berdigylyjova, 3rd place – Aynur, Gulnur and Dovlet Durdyev.  

It was noted that such contests develop a love of nature among the younger generation and help reveal young talents. Also, children’s performances and environmental protection master classes were organized for the participants. The children learned about methods of separate waste collection and recycling, as well as their benefits for protecting the environment. The participants of the event expressed deep gratitude to Hero Arkadag and Hero Arkadagly Serdar for creating conditions for a happy life for children and opportunities to preserve the country’s nature.
