Yesterday, the closing ceremony of the creative competition among photographers “Türkmenistan – gözel mekan” took place at the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan. In the competition organized by the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly together with the editorial board of the newspaper "Bereketli toprak", young photographers from different parts of the country took part. The photographs of the contestants were published on the pages of the newspaper "Bereketli toprak", and the winners were selected based on the jury's scores.

The competition was timed to coincide with World Environment Day, and the main prize went to Ilaman Churiev, a student at the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports. First place was taken by Diyar Ygtyyarov, a teacher at the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, second place was awarded to Myrat Bayramov, a photojournalist of the newspaper "Arkadag", and third place was taken by Novruz Guyjov, director of the department of the TV channel "Altyn asyr: Тürkmenistan" if the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan.

Guljeren Saparova, an 8th-grade student of the specialized comprehensive school No. 140 in Ashgabat, and others were awarded incentive prizes. They managed to vividly capture the beautiful corners of our country, its nature, flora and fauna in their photographs.

The event organizers presented the winners with certificates of honor and valuable gifts. The main goal of the competition was to strengthen the love of nature in young people, to treat it with respect, and to explain the inseparable connection between nature and humanity.
