As in other cities of the country, in recent years special attention has been paid to landscape design in Dashoguz. This is evidenced by the updated appearance of some city fountains and dividing strips of highways along the main streets of the city. They were decorated with new ceramic architectural elements, such as large or small jugs, a bowl on an outstretched hand, and other sculptural compositions. They harmoniously fit into the design of the streets and are aimed at improving the quality of the urban environment by creating comfortable, functional and aesthetically attractive public spaces.

One of the main requirements of urban development is that the urban area should be well-maintained, ecologically clean and comfortable to live in. Landscape design contributes to its functionality and consistent improvement of the urban environment. 

In recent years, dividing strips and side "pockets" have appeared on the roadway of many streets in Dashoguz, serving to separate oncoming traffic flows, speed up and improve road safety. Green spaces, be it trees, bushes, or grass and flowers, are pleasing to the eye and serve as protection from dust, gas pollution and noise.

The city also gains modern features from street advertising monitors and banners of various sizes, the lighting of streets and buildings has noticeably improved, the design of the facades of new buildings of various purposes has been improved, and recreation areas with children's playgrounds, concrete paths, benches installed along them. Some private cafes and restaurants with open summer verandas or terraces now make their contribution to the attractiveness of the city.

Consistent landscaping, sanitary cleaning of the territory, as well as the use of small architectural forms as street decorations, improve the living environment of citizens and the aesthetic appearance of the city, making it more pleasant and attractive. In turn, this forms a special culture of urban recreation and everyday life among residents.
