In the children's health center "Beýik Serdar nesilleri», located in Gokdere, on June 18, a competition in fire-applied sports was held. They were attended by 14 teams of young firefighters, which included teenagers vacationing in all the health resorts of this picturesque corner of nature.
Young men aged 10-14 demonstrated their firefighting skills in a five-stage competition. They competed in running over wooden obstacles, connecting and disconnecting a fire hose, throwing balls accurately at a target, using a fire extinguisher correctly, and extinguishing a simulated fire according to established rules.

The competition was held with the support and joint organization of the State Fire Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education, the National Red Crescent Society and a number of public organizations of the country.
According to the results of the competition, the 1st place was taken by the team of the children's health center "Ýaşlyk", the 2nd place by the team of the children's health center "Beýik Serdar nesilleri" and the 3rd place by the team of the children's health center "Altyn damja". The children were presented with gifts and diplomas from the organizers of the competition.
The team of the children's health center "Yaşlyk", which took 1st place, was also awarded the main prize - the Challenge Cup.

During the conversation, Major of the Internal Service Hemra Begliev, head of the 106th department of the Fire Safety Department of the Ashgabat City Police Department, who is one of the organizers of the competition, emphasized that the winning team demonstrated very good results, overcoming all the obstacles in 1 minute 36 seconds. As Major H.Begliev noted, the systematic holding of such competitions contributes to the comprehensive development of the younger generation, the formation of practical skills and a deep understanding of fire safety rules.
It should be noted that in the children's health center "Beýik Serdar nesilleri» all conditions for comfortable rest have been created. Currently, over 300 children spend their school holidays here. They are especially attracted by the study rooms for clubs, where crafts and drawings created during the holidays are presented, as well as chess and computer rooms.
In addition, a branch of the Library named after Ata Salyhov operates on the territory of the center, which is part of the centralized library system of the Ashgabat City Department of Culture of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
