Representatives of the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan took part in the international forum on improving public service and management, which was held in Samarkand.

The forum has become another important platform for high-level negotiations, adoption of innovative solutions and identification of vectors of strategic cooperation to improve public administration and enhance the efficiency of state service.

The event was organized under the auspices of the UN, precisely the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs. And Uzbekistan hosted such a large-scale event for the first time. The agenda of the forum fully corresponded to the strategic course of Turkmenistan in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The participation of representatives of the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan at the event is an essential component of the country's commitment to professional development and continuous improvement of the system of training government personnel using the latest innovative technologies, and above all digital platforms.

The seminar highlighted Turkmenistan's experience in the transition to the digital economy, where the resolutions signed by the head of state "On the establishment of an interdepartmental commission for the development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan" and "On the creation and implementation of an electronic document management system and Internet websites in Turkmenistan" played a major role.

The results of the international forum clearly illustrated the high level of development of digital platforms and information technologies in the public administration system achieved in our country since the adoption of the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025, the State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy of Turkmenistan for 2021-2025, as well as the Action Plan for its implementation.
