The city and regional councils of the Youth Organisation of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly have started accepting documents from candidates for the Youth Prize. Nominees for the prize can be citizens of the country aged 16 to 35 who have demonstrated significant achievements, creative and labour activity in various fields - literature, art, culture, science and technology, medicine, sports, agriculture, and teaching.
Persons who have previously received this award cannot apply. Documents must contain information about the merits and achievements of the candidate over the past three years (2023, 2024, 2025). Documents from applicants will be accepted until the 15th of September, 2025 by the councils of the Youth Organisation of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as the regions of the country. Further information about the nominees will be transferred to the ILO Central Council named after Magtymguly, which makes the final decision on awarding the prize.
Those wishing to participate must provide the following documents: six colour photographs measuring 3×4, personal data (questionnaire and autobiography) must be presented both in paper and electronic form (the last name, first name, patronymic, date, month and year of birth, position, work and home addresses, as well as a telephone number must be indicated separately); - notarised copies of the candidate's passport, and if he is employed - also a certified copy of the work record book; - documents confirming public recognition of the candidate's work, namely: copies of certificates of honour, diplomas and other awards, photographs, CD and DVD recordings of his speeches and works, samples of creative materials published in the media; - a reference issued by the institution, organisation or enterprise nominating the candidate for the award, as well as a certified copy of an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the etrap, city or velayat youth organisation with signatures and a seal.
