On October 8, 2025, B.Rejepov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, gave a lecture at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The lecture was attended by faculty members and Turkmen students studying at the university. About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.
In his lecture, the Ambassador highlighted a wide range of current issues, including the main vectors of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, measures implemented within the framework of youth policy, as well as the promising tasks set for youth by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Special attention was paid to preparations for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality Turkmenistan, which will be widely celebrated in 2025.
The audience listened with great enthusiasm to information about the large-scale social, economic, scientific, educational, and socio-political reforms aimed at strengthening the well-being of the youth of Turkmenistan and the prosperity of the country as a whole. In this regard, the head of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan spoke about the outcomes of the Halk Maslahaty meeting, which addressed key issues of state and social development.
The Ambassador also noted the large-scale work being carried out in the fields of agriculture, transport and communications, industry, and socio-cultural development. He emphasized the importance of the policy of permanent neutrality, the expansion of international cooperation for the sake of peace and trust, and the comprehensive strengthening of friendly and fraternal relations.
At the same time, B. Rejepov noted in his lecture the speech of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the plenary meeting of the 80th anniversary session of the UN General Assembly in New York, where the priorities of our country were announced and the principles of Turkmenistan’s friendly neutrality were confirmed.
After the lecture, B. Rejepov presented letters of appreciation to distinguished Turkmen students of the university.
During the event, on behalf of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, the Ambassador presented the University library with a commemorative gift – a book of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

On the same day, Ambassador B.Rejepov met with the Rector of L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University Yerlan Sydykov.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of education and science, as well as further joint steps for strengthening and expanding partnership in these areas. Particular attention was paid to issues of academic exchange and the implementation of joint research projects.
Rector Y.Sydykov congratulated the Turkmen side on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, emphasizing that Turkmenistan’s principle of neutrality serves as an important example for the whole region, contributing to the strengthening of peace, stability, and good neighborliness.
