On 1 January, 1911 in Mulk-Yusup village of Vekilbazar etrap of Mary velyat was born a kid, who was named Danatar. Then it never occurred to anyone that a music is in heart of this child. When Danatar was 8-years-old he lost his father and together with two sisters – Ogulgerek and Amansoltan – he moved to live to the uncle’s house. Allamerdan, Danatar’s uncle, was very good tuyduk player and often in the evenings dutar, gijak, tuyduk sounded in his home. It was some kind of music school for the gifted boy.

The results of the VI International Festival of Arts «Sounds of a Dutar» named after Nury Khalmamedov were summed up in Moscow. Musicians from Turkmenistan were among the laureates of this year's competition program. They are violinist Bahram Dolyev, violist and conductor of the string orchestra Takhir Ataev, as well as the creative team under his direction.

The teams of Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan punched three last tickets to the final round of the Youth Asian Cup-2022 (U-23), where, as reported, the team of Turkmenistan got through for the first time. This became known following the results of the final matches in groups "D" and "I", where Vietnam won Myanmar – 1:0, and Saudi Arabia blown out Bangladesh – 3:0.

Turkmen private enterprise “Balam” presented a wide range of the confectionery in the 23^rd Central Asian International Exhibition FoodExpo Qazaqstan-2021. Over 450 companies from 36 world countries participate in the exhibition, which was opened in the Expo Center «Atekent» of Almary city. They demonstrate their production at the stands in following sections: food and beverages, technologies, baking and confectionary industry, ingredients. The large-scaled forum will be till 5 November.

A group of researchers from the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan (scientific supervisor - candidate of chemical sciences K. Maviyev) on the basis of the laboratory of chemistry and technology of natural and hydromineral raw materials has developed a method for obtaining lightweight sulfur concrete and polymer concrete from «gas» sulfur and industrial processing waste of this substance. The State Intellectual Property Service of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has issued a limited patent for an invention to the new work of chemical scientists.
