The Turkmen State Institute of Finance will hold the 7th Economics Olympiad dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the introduction of Turkmenistan’s national currency – the manat.
Students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan are invited to take part in the Olympiad. Each university may be represented by up to four students.
The Olympiad will be held online on October 28 at 15:00. Participants will be offered 50 test questions on economic theory, macroeconomics, and the monetary and credit system. Each correct answer will be worth 2 points, with a maximum possible score of 100 points. Results will be determined both individually and by team, based on the total number of points earned.
Winners will receive first-, second-, and third-degree diplomas.

The Turkmen State Institute of Finance annually and successfully holds the student Economics Olympiad in honor of National Currency Day, which is celebrated in Turkmenistan on November 1.
The Olympiad greatly contributes to consolidating students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills, developing their professional abilities, stimulating interest in the study of economics, and identifying knowledgeable, talented, and active youth.
In addition, the Olympiad serves as an effective platform for strengthening and establishing connections between students and university teachers across the country, fostering the exchange of valuable experience, new ideas, and useful knowledge.
