Warmly welcoming the Prime Minister of Georgia, the head of state thanked him for accepting the invitation to visit our country to participate in the International forum dedicated to the International year of peace and trust, International neutrality day, and the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also noted that participation of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in this Forum demonstrates his support for policy of neutrality of Turkmenistan and the special importance attached to strengthening peace and mutual understanding.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the hospitality and the invitation to the International forum, the Prime Minister of the friendly country emphasised that holding this large-scale meeting confirms Turkmenistan's commitment to strengthening peace and ensuring sustainable development in the region and throughout the world. Taking the opportunity, the Prime Minister of Georgia warmly congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on International neutrality day and the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.

Thanking for the kind words, the head of state emphasized the coincidence of the International year of peace and trust with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations and the significant date of 30 years since the UN recognised status of permanent neutrality of our country.

Speaking about this, the head of Turkmenistan noted the importance of the negotiations with the head of the government of a friendly state, which took place within the framework of the Third United Nations Organisation Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries held in Avaza.

At the end of the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze exchanged best wishes, expressing confidence in the further successful development of interstate relations for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
