Today, in the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan a solemn ceremony of delivery of diplomas to the scientists who have received scientific degrees of doctors of sciences and candidates of sciences took place. The present celebration takes a worthy place among significant events of the year, which passes under the motto «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged racers», which has enriched the maintenance of the events held on the occasion of Day of Science annually marked in the country on June 12.

Having expressed congratulations on that occasion, speakers pointed out that in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who successfully continues great undertakings of Hero-Arkadag, our fatherland reaches high boundaries in all spheres. The national economy displays a dynamic growth by diversification and extends international cooperation consistently. With application of innovations, grandiose successes are reached in the science sphere.

As was marked, the constant attention and support of the President of Turkmenistan, aimed at development of national science, inspire representatives of the scientific community for creative work.

Speakers during festivities expressed sincere gratitude to National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for this comprehensive support.

Then, the decision of the General meeting of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan was read out.

As was pointed out in the document, in view of the activity implemented to improve economic and social affairs of the population, develop spheres of science and education, and promote the system of public health services of the country in conformity with the international standards, to introduce new high technologies in economy and manufacture, to form a new generation of the highly qualified youth in Turkmenistan, to strengthen positions of our independent neutral fatherland-Turkmenistan - among dynamically economically developing countries of the world, and to further consolidate peace policy, friendship and brotherhood on the international scene, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov was elected as an academician of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan in economic and political sciences.

Participants of the celebration received this news with huge pleasure and pride.

Then, the Decision of Presidium of the Supreme attestation committee of Turkmenistan was read out.

As was marked in the document, guided by the policy of education of the new generation of highly skilled specialists and scientists in priority areas of science pursued by the President of Turkmenistan and development of the scientific-educational sphere of our country into the level of the developed states of the world in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, on the basis of inquiries of academic councils, the conclusions adopted in councils of the Supreme attestation committee of Turkmenistan on humanitarian and economic, legal and sociological sciences, on assignment of the academic status of the professor to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov and in view of enormous merits in realisation of research and production, innovative-industrial, social and economic and scientific and technical transformations, which have both the national and universal significance and bring a great contribution to modern science as well as the peaceful internal and foreign policy and considerable expansion of international cooperation, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov, doctor of political sciences was awarded the academic status of the professor of economic and political specialities.

Speakers on behalf of the scientific community of the country warmly congratulated Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar on Day of Science, and election of the head of the state as the academician of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and assignment of the academic status of the professor of economic and political specialities.

As was marked, in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state under the wise leadership of the President of Turkmenistan a special significance is attached to the accelerated development of national economy taking into account achievements of science, successful realisation of programs of national, state and international importance and increase of the scientific-mental potential of our society to as a strategic area of the state policy. Besides it, it was underlined that according to far-sighted initiatives of the head of the state, scientific and technical reforms, complex programs and the policy based on innovative development and achievements of high technologies, in the country the science sphere consistently grows and ample opportunities for increase of efficiency of scientific research and creation of the economy, which is based on deep theoretical knowledge and scientific researches, are created.

In the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, thanks to great initiatives of National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, the academician, doctor of medical and economic sciences, professor, scientist-mentor Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan, a large scale work aimed at strengthening and perfection of the material and technical basis of research establishments and higher educational institutions of the country, training of highly skilled research personnel and increase of interest of the talented youth in science is successfully realised.

Participants of the ceremony underlined that thanks to unprecedented efforts, support and ample opportunities, created by the head of the state, at scientific research institutes, higher educational schools, scientific-technological, clinical and design centres, test and industrial laboratories, and in interdepartmental and branch scientific organisations versatile basic researches are conducted.

These researches are aimed at strengthening the potential of national economy, consecutive increase of standards of living of people, creation of new industries and realisation of large-scale projects. Research works are conducted in such priority areas as computer, nano and chemical technologies, energy, molecular biology and biotechnology, agriculture, ecology and genetics, information-communication systems, medicine and production technologies of medical products, innovative economy and humanities. New technologies are created on the basis of the Strategy of development of the sphere of science in Turkmenistan for 2024-2052.

Thanks to efforts of the National Leader and the President of Turkmenistan at high level scientific-practical conferences, exhibitions, forums, scientific competitions, creative meetings are held, promoting distribution of achievements of science and technology worldwide, strengthening positions of our independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan in the international scientific space.

It is necessary to notice that using possibilities of science and education for peace and friendship, Arkadagly Hero Serdar makes huge efforts for consecutive strengthening of cooperation with large international organisations, foreign centres of science, technics and innovative technologies, and for further expansion of interaction with science and education establishments, international and regional organisations of the states of the Far East, Asian-Pacific region, the Middle and Near East, Europe and America.

Speakers also pointed out that books of the President of Turkmenistan «Youth is the support of the Motherland», «Anau - culture from depths of millennia», «Magtymguly - the thinker of the world» and «Neutrality of Turkmenistan - a bright path for peace and trust», which are penetrated with valuable scientific solutions, became valuable resources in studying the rich history of our fatherland, its cultural-historical heritage, which has made a great impact on human civilisation, and heritages of our great sons on the basis of new scientific theories. In that connection, Turkmenistan has proved itself as the country of prospering science and education that further raises the authority of our fatherland in the world.

Then, there, the Decision of the Presidium of the Supreme attestation committee of Turkmenistan on awarding scientific degrees of doctors and candidates of science was read out. According to the document, 31 scientists of our country were awarded scientific degrees, including 6 - doctors of sciences and 25 - candidates of science.

Scientific works of some scientists of Turkmenistan, who have received scientific degrees in countries-partners, were recognised. Among them - 5 documents of doctors of sciences and 6 - candidates of science, assignment of scientific degrees on them.

The scientists, who were awarded diplomas, and those with their approved diplomas, underlined that in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state as a result of the far-sighted policy of President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, ample opportunities for development peaceful, humane and friendly relations with foreign countries, development of national science and education into the world level, increase of efficiency of scientific research, technical solutions and the role of science in national economy, uses of achievements of science in solution of public and social issues, are created.

As was marked, thanks to consecutive efforts of the head of the state, issues on development of branches of national economy, creation of new manufactures based on innovative technologies according to the advanced experience, maintenance of competitiveness of achievements of science, and on complex activity of research establishments are successfully realised.

Scientists assured that they will put all their knowledge, experience and abilities for the further development of science according to modern requirements, and expressed sincere gratitude Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the diplomas, which were presented on the threshold of Day of Science.

They also expressed their deep gratitude for creation of ample opportunities for development of national science and education, popularisation of values of the Turkmen people, creative work of the youth and conduction of scientific researches in priority areas of science. Participants of the celebration also wished Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar sound health, longevity and tremendous successes in all their undertakings for the prosperity of our people and country.
