With the aim to implement the fundamental and applied research in the sphere of state and the national legislation, to ensure the scientific validity of the work on the democratization of the Turkmen society and state, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, according to which:
1.The Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan and the Institute of State and Law under the President of Turkmenistan are incorporated into the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan.
2.Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan is in charge for supervising the activities of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan.
3.The Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan shall be the legal successor of the Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan and the Institute of State and Law under the President of Turkmenistan.

2.Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan is in charge for supervising the activities of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan.
3.The Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan shall be the legal successor of the Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan and the Institute of State and Law under the President of Turkmenistan.
