The foundation of a modern vegetable oil production facility with a processing capacity of 60 thousand tons of cottonseed per year has been laid in the Garashsyzlyk etrap of the Dashoguz velayat. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the ceremonial launch of construction.

The new industrial facility will produce high-quality products in accordance with international standards.

«The production facility will be equipped with cutting-edge equipment from international companies with extensive experience in this field. Such equipment will ensure the plant operates in accordance with international standards and produces high-quality vegetable-based oil», – the head of state emphasised.

The opening of the plant will not only expand the capacity of the domestic food industry but also address an important social issue: the launch of the facility will create approximately 250 new jobs in the region.
