The Ministry of Textile Industry and the Ministry of Culture organized an exhibition of textile products dedicated to the 2018 motto in our country “Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road”.

News from China perceived the exposition of the panne. Celestial - the original home of this luxurious fabric, which, thanks to the Great Silk Road, spread many centuries ago, delighting women around the world. The chiffon base (and originally silk), on which a velvet pattern is applied, causes an elegant drape of the fabric, giving the product a special elegance. In total, up to 20 variants were presented, differing in color, texture and pattern. All of them are made in Turkmenistan.

The exhibition presented the best samples of products of textile enterprises of the country. Among them are environmentally friendly, fashionable and comfortable clothes made of knitwear and denim for children and adults, towels, sports suits and jackets made of blended fabrics and much more.

The exhibition was decorated with mannequins with the best samples of the national female costume. Once again, I would like to express our gratitude to our women, who have preserved the traditions of creation and customs of wearing original clothes, bringing into it only some elements of modern style, color palette and accessories. The wedding dress of the bride, richly decorated by hand embroidery, is presented on the glass case under the glass.

The attention of fashionistas attracted a section in which silk scarves are used, used by women as headdresses, as well as being thrown on shoulders.

The Ministry of Culture presented a collection of plot carpets. Among them, the special attention of visitors was attracted by the canvas depicting snow-white graceful Akhal-Teke, the sketch of which was created by the national artist of Turkmenistan Ada Gutlyev, a multiple winner of the national competition for the best artistic embodiment of the beauty of Akhal-Teke horses.

The exhibits were invited to reflect on the continuity of cultural traditions, the inextricable link between times and generations, allowing you to feel like a traveler from the past to the present of Turkmen land.
