Diplomas were awarded to laureates of the music contest  “Sounds of Dutar”

The assembly hall of the Special Music Boarding School under the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to the laureates of the music contest held as part of the Moscow International Festival of Arts “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nuri Khalmamedov.

This year contest was dedicated to the 300th  anniversary of the great poet and philosopher of the East, Makhtumkuli Fraghi. Young talents from all over the world submitted their video applications for participation, which reflected the unity of musical creativity and heritage of the outstanding classic of Turkmen literature.

The victories of the pupils of the Ashgabat Special Music School were a special achievement. The children, taking part in the Children's Delphic Games and other creative competitions, demonstrated high results and became worthy students of their mentors. The diplomas and letters of appreciation that came from different parts of the world served as an occasion for this solemn ceremony.

The organizing committee of the VIII Moscow International Festival of Arts “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nuri Khalmamedov announced the winners in various age categories.

In the category of 10-12 years old, the laureates were: 5th grade pupil Sonya Nasyrova, who was awarded the 2nd degree diploma, and 1st degree laureate Dolyev Myalikguly,  a 6th grade pupil. 

In the category of 15-17 years old, the best students were 12th grade Nurana Nurieva and Aiperi Borjakova, who became laureates of the 3rd  degree, and Elina Gurbanova, awarded the 2nd degree.

It is gratifying to note that Sonya Nasyrova also won the 1st degree laureate at the 2nd International Professional Competition of Classical Art “Magic of Music 2024”, which was held in Moscow.

Uncommonly, all the children who have achieved success studying with the head of the string department and violin teacher, winner of the "Türkmeniń Altyn asyry" competition Gozel Seyitniazova, and Maya Maksudova is the winner of the same competition too, is their accompanist.

Commenting on the remarkable achievement of her students, Gozel Seyitniyazova said:

– In addition to the boundless joy and pride for my students, I am pleased that no one has ever had such a number of laureates in one competition.

We can only congratulate the children on their victory. This success clearly demonstrates the talent and perseverance of young talents, which inspires them to further achievements in the world of music.
