The President of Turkmenistan signed an Order prescribing ministries and sectoral agencies of the transport and communications field and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to convene and ensure the high standards for hosting an international transport conference in Avaza National Tourist Zone on 28 November.
According to the document, relevant ministries and sectoral agencies will be required to assist ministries and sectoral agencies of the transport and communications field and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in organizing and holding the said high-level conference.
The forum is expected to gather professionals from many countries across the world, including representatives of transport companies, sectoral ministries and agencies, international organizations and mass media.
In addition to plenary meetings, the following sessions are scheduled to take place: “Role of Interstate Cooperation in Activating Transit and Transport Corridors”, “Importance of Logistics Companies in Developing Transit and Transport Corridors”, “Infrastructure and Transport Capacity”, and “Multimodal Transport Operations and Their Turnover”. A relevant exhibition will be also organized in parallel with the conference.
