President of Turkmenistan and Prime Minister of Malaysia discuss priorities of cooperation

Upon completion of the meeting in one-on-one format, the President of Turkmenistan and Prime Minister of Malaysia continued the talks with the participation of the government delegations of the two countries.

Greeting the members of the official delegation of Malaysia, the Turkmen leader expressed belief that the meeting in Ashgabat would become an important step towards strengthening bilateral relations.

It was noted that Turkmenistan and Malaysia had built cooperation on a stable, mutually beneficial and long-term basis. In the foreign-policy sphere, the countries successfully collaborate at the bilateral level and in frames of international organizations.

Speaking about the one-on-one top level talks, the President of Turkmenistan underlined that the meeting confirmed the mutual willingness to bring the Turkmen-Malaysian partnership to the qualitatively new level.

Speaking about collaboration on the international arena, the Turkmen leader expressed gratitude to Malaysia for the support of the initiatives put forward by neutral Turkmenistan.

The agenda of the top level Turkmen-Malaysian talks includes a wide spectrum of issues, including cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, the spheres of transport and logistics, increase of the mutual trade turnover and investment projects, partnership in the spheres of education, science, culture and tourism.
