Today in the morning, the President of Turkmenistan, who is on an official visit to Rome, headed to the Palazzo Chigi - the official residence of the Prime Minister of Italy. The Guard of Honor lined up on the square in honour of the distinguished guest. Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy Giuseppe Conte cordially welcomed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The State anthems of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Italy were played. The President of Turkmenistan and Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy bypassed the Guard of Honour.

After the traditional ceremony of photographing, Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy Giuseppe Conte and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov introduced the members of the official delegations of the two countries to each other.

The Turkmen-Italian top level talks took place in one-on-one format upon completion of the official meeting ceremony in the Palazzo Chigi.
