Tomorrow, the celebration of bright, sacred for all Muslims holiday - Kurban Bairam will start in Turkmenistan. It will be widely celebrated all over the country during three days.

In accordance with the centuries-old traditions, the first day of the holiday is started from solemn public prayer Bairam namaz. This morning prayer is an original symbol of unity and cohesion, adherence of the Turkmen people to their high spiritual values.

“This bright holiday is a powerful consolidating factor, symbol of invariable adherence of the Turkmen residents to their primordial humanistic traditions and spiritual roots,” – particularly noted President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his Address to people.

Leaving on the eve of sacred holiday – Kurban Bairam of the pilgrims from Turkmenistan for Mecca and Medina to make a hajj contributes to the confirmation and popularization of essential for every people universal cultural, spiritual and moral, nationwide sacred places.
