On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Chairperson of the Mejlis A. Nurberdyeva received the letters of credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Turkmenistan Mr. Jaan Reinhold.
On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the Chairperson of the National Parliament congratulated the diplomat on the beginning of the diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan and wished success in his work aimed at enhancing the ties of friendship and cooperation between Turkmenistan and Estonia.
Thanking for the kind words, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Turkmenistan underlined that it was a big honour for him to represent his country in Turkmenistan that won the international authority due to its peace-loving policy and rapid social and economic development.
During the meeting, the diplomat was briefed on the main aspects of the state policy of Turkmenistan, which prioritise the development of fruitful friendly relations with all countries in the world. Particular attention was paid to the large-scale reforms implemented in our country on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the aim to ensure the successful social and economic development of the neutral state, and increase the Turkmen people’s wellbeing. The diplomat was also briefed on the reforms taken place in the scientific and educational sphere, the introduction of the scientific and technological innovations into all sectors of the national economy. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Turkmenistan was also informed on the multilateral work and structure of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
The sides underlined the significance of the further development of the inter-parliamentary ties that would serve an essential factor for strengthening bilateral relations.
