According to the Resolution of Elders’ Council of Turkmenistan, 2015 was announced as the year of neutrality and peace.
Adoption for the first time in the history of General Assembly of the United Nations Organization of the special Resolution dated from December 12, 1995 “On permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan” became the recognition of peaceable foreign policy of our country, confirmation of authoritative role of Turkmenistan as the state capable to make worthy contribution to peaceful development path of international relations, maintenance of general security and stable progress. In 2015, it will be observed the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
