On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Chairperson of Mejlis A. Nurberdyeva received letters of credence from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina in Turkmenistan Mr. Pablo Anselmo Tettamanti.
On behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Chairperson of Mejlis A. Nurberdyeva congratulated the distinguished guest on the beginning of the diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan and wished him great success in developing the bilateral dialogue between the two states.
Thanking for the hospitality and cordial welcome extended on the Turkmen land, the diplomat conveyed the best wishes to the Turkmen leader, who successfully leads the country along the way of the economic prosperity and progress, on behalf of President of the Republic of Argentina Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
The plenipotentiary representative of Argentina underlined that his country highly evaluated and supported the farseeing policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan and important international initiatives put forward by the Turkmen leader.
The plenipotentiary representative of the friendly country was briefed on the progress in implementing the large-scale reforms initiated by the President of Turkmenistan with the aim to ensure the prosperity of the Turkmen people and develop the constructive multi-aspect partnership with many countries all around the world, including the Latin American states.
In his turn, Mr. Pablo Anselmo Tettamanti highly evaluated the prospects for development of the efficient cooperation between the two states in such areas as energy and agricultural engineering, as well as focused on the tremendous potential for partnership in the field of renewable energy sources.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of strengthening the intergovernmental relations and exchange of experience accumulated by the two states in the law-making process.
Speaking about the successes achieved by Turkmenistan in such spheres as science, education, health care, culture, sports and tourism and given the large-scale programmes for the further development of these spheres, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the plenipotentiary representative of the Republic Argentina in our country underlined the importance of establishing and enhancing the close relations between Turkmenistan and Argentina in the cultural and humanitarian sector.
