President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Djoomart Otorbaev, who arrived in the Turkmen capital to participate in a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government.
Discussing the status and the prospects for the development of the bilateral cooperation, the Turkmen leader and his guest expressed satisfaction with the trend for intensification of the efficient mutually beneficial partnership between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic in all spheres.
The President of Turkmenistan and the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic highly evaluated the important steps taken by the two countries with the aim to widen cooperation in the bilateral and multilateral level that included the regional cooperation within the CIS. It was noted that the interests of the two states focused on widening the trade and economic relations, mutually beneficial partnership in the sphere of energy and transport as well as cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, where the both states had accumulated rich positive experience.
