President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich, who arrived in the Turkmen capital to participate in a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus informed the Turkmen leader that within the framework of his working visit to our country, he considered the progress of construction of the Garlyk ore-dressing and processing enterprise for production of potash fertilizers in Koytendag Etrap, Lebap Velayat.
Moreover, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus attended the ceremony of presenting the project of a new complex of buildings of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan. Within the framework of his visit, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich also considered the progress of construction of the MAZ service centre in the Turkmen capital.
The Turkmen leader and his guest exchanged the views on the prospects of the Turkmen-Belarusian cooperation in the context of implementation of the agreements achieved earlier. The trade and economic, transport and engineering industries, agriculture, energy, processing and chemical industries, construction and other important areas were specified among the key spheres for cooperation.
The Head of the Turkmen state and his guest underlined the progressive character of the traditional bilateral cooperation in the humanitarian and cultural spheres, including education and professional development of high-qualified specialists, where efficient relations were established. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus discussed the trainings for Garlyk complex specialists. With this aim, over 200 Turkmen students were sent to Belarus to study at the technological universities of the friendly country.
