The President was informed of the progress in implementing the General Plan of the development of Turkmenbashi international seaport and the merchant navy of Turkmenistan for the period till 2020 and the preparations for the ceremony to mark the arrival of the new vessel Berkarar to Turkmenbashi seaport. The new vessel is designed to carry passengers and trucks.
The information on the proposal of the European Commission to sign the Financing Agreement on technical assistance for implementing the projects on agricultural development and rural development, in the spheres of education and human resources management was presented.

Focusing on the tasks of supplying irrigation water to farmlands, the President instructed that the conference on the current state and further functioning of the Karakum River would be held.

In particular, the Charter and other constituent documents of the Closed Corporation with the proposed name NAPECO, which will be owned by the state , have been drafted. It will unite the Agency for Hydrocarbon Resources Management and Use under the President of Turkmenistan, Turkmengaz State Concern, Turkmennebit State Concern, Turkmengeologiya State Corporation and Turkmenbashi oil refineries on a cost-sharing basis.
Approving this proposal as a whole, the Turkmen leader emphasized the need to thoroughly study the organisational activities and gave specific instructions to the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
