President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a videoconference meeting with the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of the ministries concerned. The meeting agenda focused on the progress in implementing the national social and economic development strategy, the national programmes and the sector development programmes and other issues of the domestic policy.

The construction projects to be implemented in Ashgabat at the 15th construction stage of the urban development programme were presented to the Turkmen leader for consideration.
The report on the preparations for the ceremony to mark the arrival of the vehicle-passenger ferry Berkarar, the first of two Ro-Pax ferries built at the Uljanik shipyard in Pula, the Republic of Croatia, and a meeting with a delegation of Croatian partners was presented. Minister of Nature Protection B. Annabairamov reported on the ongoing activities of the Ministry, in particular the outcomes of the business trip to Dushanbe, Tajikistan, where the Turkmen delegation had participated in the meeting of the Interstate Commission on Sustainable Development of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea. The decision to transfer the chairmanship of the Intergovernmental Commission on Sustainable Development of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea to Turkmenistan for the period of 2015-2016 was adopted at the meeting.
