President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to Balkan Velayat, visited the Avaza national tourism zone to see the progress in implementing the construction projects.

The Turkmen leader arrived at the helicopter pad, where the President held a meeting with Vice Premiers, Khyakims of the city of Turkmenbashi and Avaza Etrap, and the head of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. During the meeting the Turkmen leader gave instructions on the further social and economic development of the maritime region and implementation of its tremendous potential.

The President instructed the relevant officials to pay particular attention to the promotion of recreational activities in the seaside resort given the advanced experience of foreign countries. Moreover, the Turkmen leaders gave instructions to develop modern recreational infrastructure of the tourism zone and maintainthe ecological wellbeing of the region.

Then, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov flew by helicopter over the Avaza national tourism zone to see the progress in implementing the projects on the beautification and development of infrastructure in the seaside resort.
