President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chief Executive Officer and Director at LG International Corporation (Republic of Korea) Mr. Song Chi-ho.
The Turkmen leader and the CEO at LG International Corp. agreed on the plans for cooperation for a short term and exchanged views on the possibilities for promoting partnership. The businessman reported to the Turkmen leader on the progress in implementing a number of large-scale construction projects and fulfilling the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, including on the construction of a new training centre at the International Oil and Gas University, where specialists would be trained for various agencies.
Emphasizing that his company was seeking to expand on the promising Turkmen market that offered foreign business circles favourable conditions for fruitful activities, Mr. Song Chi-ho presented a number of new projects in the fuel and energy sector and water industry to the Turkmen leader for consideration. The projects were developed in accordance with the agreements signed during the talks between the President of Turkmenistan and the President of the Republic of Korea in June this year. Expressing satisfaction with this business-like approach to cooperation aimed at achieving concrete results, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the company’s proposals were consistent with the key priorities of the policy of the Turkmen state.
Upon concluding the meeting, Mr. Song Chi-ho confirmed that LG International Corporation stood ready to use its expertise and potential to promote partnership with the Turkmen state and assured President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that his recommendations and suggestions would be taken into account.
