President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov together with young residents of Turkmenistan took part in the New Year solemnity at the Main Christmas Tree of the country set on the area before “Alem” cultural and entertainment center – one of original architectural sights of Ashgabat.
Numerous guests, including members of government, officials of the Parliament of Turkmenistan, military and law-enforcement agencies, governors of the provinces and Ashgabat also came to Magic Township to share the joy with children.

On the area before “Alem” Center, the children’s creative groups welcome with music the President of Turkmenistan.
The head of state warmly greet all participants of New Year holiday. Ayaz baba and Garpamyk address to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with sincere congratulations and good wishes.
Magic township is filled with melodies and songs performed joyfully with unusual sincerity and spontaneity typical to children. Among young artists are the creative groups of the capital’s specialized musical boarding school at the Turkmen National Conservatoire, Palace of Children and Youth and others. Colorful costumes, including heroes of Turkmen tales and tales of people of the world added particular spectacular to the performance. And all these characters of revived fairy tales as well as perky lamb – symbol of New Year participated in cheerful holiday.
Upon completion of colorful New Year performance, the children turn to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with request to sing and dance in a ring around beautiful Christmas tree.
Responding to the request of children, the nation leader sang and danced in a ring, having shared with children the joy and happiness of favorite holiday. Then, to great happiness of children, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, they received New Year gifts. In memory of holiday, to the request of children, it was made a photo of the nation leader and young residents of Turkmenistan at Main Christmas tree of the country.
