Dwelling upon cultural and humanitarian cooperation as an integral part of Turkmen-Russian relations, the President of Turkmenistan and the RF Minister of Foreign Affairs focused on the importance of further encouraging and deepening fruitful contacts in education and science, the symbols of which include A. S. Pushkin Turkmen-Russian School in Ashgabat. In this regard, the Turkmen leader and his guest called for the continuation of a mutually beneficial dialogue in the fields of arts and culture.

Touching upon the upcoming celebrations in honour of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the 1941-1945 War, the leader of Turkmenistan and the RF Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of the glorious date which embodies the heroic feat of the brotherly peoples who fought shoulder to shoulder against fascism for a peaceful and prosperous future of the generations to come.

The President of Turkmenistan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation exchanged views on a number of topical issues of international politics relating particularly to peace, security and sustainable development in regional and global dimensions.
