President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Rifat Hisarcıklıoglu, who arrived in Ashgabat leading the high-level delegation of his country to participate in the Turkish Export Products Exhibition.

The Turkmen leader and his guest exchanged views on key aspects of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation based on the successful experience of partnership. In this context, emphasis was placed on existing ample opportunities to widen the spectrum of bilateral trade, promote investment activity and implement new joint projects in various fields. In this regard, the significant role is assigned to exhibitions and business forums, held on a regular basis, as an effective tool to deepen and diversify mutually beneficial contacts between entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and Turkey. It is these goals that the business forum, which will take place in the framework of a visit of the leader of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Turkey, scheduled for March this year, is to achieve.

In conclusion, the Turkmen leader and his guest expressed belief that effective bilateral business cooperation based on the indissoluble ties of friendship and brotherhood between the two nations and the principles of equal long-term partnership in mutual interest would continue to successfully develop.
