Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fifth convocation held the seventh session. A number of draft laws and legal acts developed in the context of the key aspects of the state policy were put on the agenda of the session.
During the meeting, the deputies of the national parliament considered the draft Law “On Railroad Transport”, “On the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan”, “On Protection of the National Nonmaterial Cultural Heritage”, “On Organizing and Holding Meetings, Demonstrations, and other Public Events” and “On Counteraction to Extremism”.
The parliamentarians considered over 20 draft documents on amendments to the Laws of Turkmenistan that regulate the judicial and business activity, public property privatization, food quality and safety, public health protection from exposure to tobacco smoke, etc. The deputies considered amendments to the Labour Code, Forest Code and the Code “On Land” of Turkmenistan.
